Rumah Nurul Iman was established at the end of 2000 with the original name Nurul Iman Foundation.

Nurul Iman House was founded by Mr. Khairul Anuar Bin Mohmad Razi (Former President). Established with the hope of helping less fortunate children such as orphans, poor, neglected and abused children, by giving them a place to live and the opportunity to get a perfect education.

In the early stages of its establishment, Rumah Nurul Iman was managed by an authority. This committee has appointed Mr. Khairul Anuar Bin Mohmad Razi as Manager/Supervisor of the hostel. He is the person responsible for all management of the hostel except for matters related to assets and finances. For certain reasons in 2004 the operation was moved to Jalan Intan, Kampung Dato Ahmad Said.

At the end of 2005 these children were once again moved, this time due to the failure of the Nurul Iman Foundation to finance the operating costs of the hostel and problems with the rented host. As a result of facing problems too often, Mr. Khairul Anuar is determined to fully take over the operation of Asrama Nurul Iman from the Nurul Iman Foundation and its Committee.

This new settlement is located at Plot 359, Lorong Dato, Manjoi, Ipoh, Perak. The settlement only has a two-door rental house that is rented at a rate of RM 200.00 per month. With a meager personal income, Mr. Khairul Anuar has worked hard to operate the settlement with the help of the surrounding residents and the Manjoi assemblyman at the time, YB Dato' Haji Nazri. After struggling to defend the fate of these orphans and poor children by himself including cooking and everything else then on 9th October 2006 Mr. Khairul Anuar has officially registered Nurul Iman's Solely Owned Child Care Center for Orphans and the Poor. On the 12th of October, Mr. Khairul Anuar has made a sworn statement to confirm that the Nurul Iman Orphanage and Poor Children's Care Center runs activities for free.

To expand the defense of orphans and poor children, In June 2010 Mr. Khairul Anuar has opened another Daycare Center (Branch) in Kampung Pinang, Kamunting, Taiping which accommodates only boys but it was closed on 1st September 2016 due to lack of support.

And on June 30, 2011 KASIH NURUL IMAN NEGERI PERAK CHARITY ORGANIZATION was officially established under the Registrar of Societies. This establishment is to launch the administration and meet the requirements of the Social Welfare Department.
